It is also a pleasure for motorcyclists to ride the many winding roads. For them, there are several mapped out motorcycle routes through the beautiful landscape.The department of "Lot" is also only 100 km from the ski slopes of the "Midi Pyrenees".

Sousceyrac-en Quercy (1 km)
The village of Sousceyrac dates back to around 1200. The church and monastery date back to that time. You can also visit an exhibition about the complete history of this place. The "Notre Dame" gate and the "Saint Antoine" gate illustrate the rich history of this city.

Latronquière (12 km)
In Latronquière you will find 'Le lac du Tolerme'. This lake was created in 1974 and offers the opportunity to practice various water sports.

St. Céré (16 km)
The town is located in the arrondissement of Figéac, in the south of the Dordogne valley on the river Bave, which has been canalized since the 17th century. You can visit 'Chateau de St Laurent-les-Tours'. The St Céré music festival takes place from mid-July to mid-August.

Figeac is the second largest city in the Lot and has 10,000 inhabitants. Many of the medieval buildings have been preserved and restored. Figeac is located on the Célé, this is a tributary of the Lot, because of its location on the rivers you can practice all kinds of water sports in the city such as kayaking and canoeing.
A work of art by the American artist Jospeh Kosuth is definitely worth a visit. It represents a large copy of the Rosette stone and can be found in the Place des Ecritures.

The town of Rocamadour is the second most visited pilgrimage site in France after Lourdes. The city is on the road to Santiago de Compostela. This typical medieval town was built on a rock. Cahors (96 km)
Cahors is the capital of the department "Lot" and is almost completely surrounded by water as the city lies in a meander of the river Lot. The city is mainly known for the AOC wine, but has several other attractions. You can visit the cathedral St-Etienne, the exhibition space 'La Chantrerie', and the church of Saint-Barthélémy.
On the other side of the city are the famous Pont Valentré, a fortress bridge, and the Henri Martin museum.
